Brenna has had excellent results with AMEB Practical and Theory/Musicianship exams, Eisteddfods, and Scholarship Awards for many years

Brenna comes with 30 years experience teaching Piano Theory and Musicianship. Whilst studying for a Bachelor of Arts in Instrumental Performance at the QLD Conservatorium she studied Piano with Nancy Weir and Yefim Stesin, Viola with Anna Jack, Chamber Music with Kerry Smith and Musicianship with Una Morgan. Brenna then transferred to the University of Qld and obtained a Bachelor of Arts (Double Major Music, Double Major Drama). Brenna continued with private studies in Violin Pedagogy with Kerry Smith, and then completed a Post Grad Diploma in String and Aural Pedagogy and Conducting (with James Cuskelly and Reka Csernyik).
Brenna has recently become a Licensed Kinder Beat Teacher and in 2016 is undertaking a Masters in Piano Pedagogy at the Qld Conservatorium. She has taught all ages, from 2 to 72, in both individual and group classes, and as a peripatetic String teacher for Education Queensland.

From 1989 to 2015 Brenna was Artistic Director of Fractal Theatre and Fractal Youth Theatre, both companies won numerous awards (including 2 Matilda Awards); during that time Brenna composed many musical compositions for both adult professional and youth theatre productions. Brenna is also an experienced accompanist and has accompanied numerous students in AMEB exams and eisteddfods. In her spare time she composes, and plays Viola with the Indooroopilly Chamber Orchestra and conducts, coaches and arranges for an all female a Capella choir ‘The Mumas of Creation’.
